Yoga Retreat - Yerevan and Tbilisi – starts in Yerevan and end in Tbilisi. Yoga trip is a guided cultural, religious and historic sites tour that takes 9 days. This is a small group trip for like-minded people. We take care of all the stressful parts like organizing transport and accommodation. All food is included at the retreat (and is vegan) except for our excursion days and anyone is of course welcome to eat outside of the retreat. Our yoga trip will also include five very special and fun excursions in Armenia and Georgia!

Besides the entertainment program, we take the training very seriously. On this fascinating spiritual tour in Caucasus countries, we'll introduce you to the basics of meditation and yoga while taking you on an unforgettable journey exploring the mountains and gems of this magnificent ancient countries. This is the perfect tour if you have free 10 days for travel and wish to experience all the best bits of this amazing countries.

• First stop will be monastery of Khor Virap, situated at the foot of Mount Ararat, near the border with Turkey. It is a place of pilgrimage, which is connected with the legend of Grigor Lusavorich (Grigor the Illuminator). According to church tradition, Gregory was imprisoned on the orders of King Trdat III, caught in that he professes Christianity, and was held there for 13 years. Those interested can go down to the prison, which has a depth of 6 m and a diameter of 4.4 m. Right in front of you, very, very close and in all its beauty you will see the symbol of Armenia – Mount Ararat.
• Echmiadzin - one of the oldest Christian temple and the main attractions of Armenia. Echmiadzin has many holy objects which are revered in the entire Christian world
• Next will visit the ruins of the temple Zvartnots.  Temple is the oldest and largest aisled tetraconch church in historical Armenia.

Way back to Yerevan

• Walking tour through the city. Yerevan architecture is original and distinctive. Today, Yerevan is a city where there is a variety of architectural styles, with green alleys, numerous fountains. You will be able to see the sights in Yerevan: Grand Cascade (open-air museum), the square of France, the Opera and Ballet House, Northern Avenue, the Republic Square.

10:00 Tbilisi city tour. Walking through narrows old Tbilisi streets, visit the fortress Narikala complex IV century in Old Tbilisi, the Metekhi temple with panoramic views of the old city; The Sioni Cathedral is the main temple of Tbilisi; The Anchiskhati church is the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi, will visit the biggest temple of Tbilisi – Holy Trinity Temple, placed on St. Ilia hill..

14:00 Stop for lunch (extra charge)

15:00 After lunch we will visit city-museum under open air - Mtskheta. In older sources, Mtskheta is called the Second Jerusalem. Here, every religious site is a place of pilgrimage for thousands of tourists. Each shrine is important for the Georgian people and lovers of history, religion and architecture. Excursion program we will start from Jvari monastery.

• Svetitskhoveli Cathedral — is key monument of medieval Georgia. The Historical Monuments of Mtskheta contain archaeological remains of great significance that testify to the high culture in the art of building, masonry crafts, pottery, as well as metal casting and processing, and the social, political, and economic evolution of this mountain kingdom for some four millennia.
• Jvari monastery — gorgeous monastery is located on a hill opposite Mtskheta. You can be tired of seeing hundreds of churches in the Caucasus, but you will regret if you miss Jvari. This place provides you an outstanding combination of a stunning location, beautiful architecture and a journey in history. Jvari has a lot of historical significance for Georgia as it was the symbolic place for the advent of Christianity in Georgia with St Nino planting a wooden cross at the site of an ancient pagan temple. The icons inside the church are priceless.

10:00 – departure to the one of the colorful excursions throughout Georgia - Ananuri, Gudauri and Gergeti

• Ananuri fortress — witnessed centuries of bloody turmoil, including the massacre of its ruling clan. You will get overwhelmed by mysterious feelings while visiting Ananuri.
• Zhinvali reservoir — most beautiful place in Georgia. This place keeps many secrets and legends. The construction of the reservoir caused big floodings on this territory and almost destroyed all the historical monuments. When the water level decreases you can see the small church, which is appearing under the water. This church is considered to be one of the most mystical places in Georgia.
• Gergeti Trinity Church — the most stunning churche of all Georgia. Gergeti Trinity Church is a 14th century monument at the foot of Mount Kazbek.
• The Georgian Military Road - this place has been a battlefield for Georgians for so many times that they decided to call the road that is leading to Ananuri – the Georgian Military Road.
• The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument - the massive round “friendship” monument looks out over Devil’s Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. It is situated on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri, which is considered the best ski resort in Georgia, and Gergeti, where you can find the Gergeti Trinity Church.
