- Jvari Monastery — Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia. According to traditional accounts, on this location in the early 4th century Saint Nino erected a large wooden cross on the site of a pagan temple. The cross was reportedly able to work miracles and therefore drew pilgrims from all over the Caucasus. A small church was erected over the remnants of the wooden cross in c.545 during the rule of Guaram I, and named the "Small Church of Jvari", which can still be seen adjacent to the main church from the north.

Return to Tbilisi. Hospitable and full of vitality, Tbilisi is happy to open its doors to the guests. Here you can hear the soft south flow of the Mtkravri River. For centuries, Tbilisi has been pleasing to the eye and has fallen in love with travelers with its old churches and monasteries, narrow streets and hospitable hosts. It is impossible not to fall in love with the city, which opens its heart and shows you the most secret places of interest.
- Narikala — Mother Fortress of Tbilisi, Narikala is an ancient symbol of Tbilisi’s defence. The fortress was established in the 4th century and the name Narikala is said to derive from a Persian word for citadel
- Mother of a Georgian — stands on the top of the old town Tbilisi from 1967. An aluminum statue 20 meters high, dressed in a Georgian national dress, with a cup of wine in one hand and a sword in the other. It symbolizes the Georgian national character: wine means hospitality, and the sword symbolizes the love of every Georgian for freedom.
- Metekhi Temple — was the fortress and the residence of Georgian kings. Metekhi is located in the historical district, close to the edge of the rocky bank of the Mtkvari. It is a rather small church and seems to be oldest in town.
- Baratashvili Bridge — over the Mtkvari River is decorated with bronze figures. The bridge offers a beautiful view of Tbilisi.
