  • Narikala — Mother Fortress of Tbilisi, Narikala is an ancient symbol of Tbilisi’s defence. The fortress was established in the 4th century and the name Narikala is said to derive from a Persian word for citadel
  • Mother of a Georgian — stands on the top of the old town Tbilisi from 1967. An aluminum statue 20 meters high, dressed in a Georgian national dress, with a cup of wine in one hand and a sword in the other. It symbolizes the Georgian national character: wine means hospitality, and the sword symbolizes the love of every Georgian for freedom.
  • Metekhi Temple — was the fortress and the residence of Georgian kings. Metekhi is located in the historical district, close to the edge of the rocky bank of the Mtkvari. It is a rather small church and seems to be oldest in town.
  • Baratashvili Bridge — over the Mtkvari River is decorated with bronze figures. The bridge offers a beautiful view of Tbilisi.
  • Holy Trinity Church — known as Sameba, is main Cathedral of Georgia. The cathedral complex consists of a courtyard wall, a bell tower, and several chapels. Sameba can be seen in all parts of Tbilisi.
  • Abanotubani — is the ancient district of Tbilisi, known for its sulphuric baths.

  • Svetitskhoveli Cathedral — is the heart of Mtskheta. The highest historical building in Georgia. The Temple of the Twelve Apostles is surrounded by high mountains that emphasize its importance and beauty.
  • Jvari Monastery — Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia. According to traditional accounts, on this location in the early 4th century Saint Nino erected a large wooden cross on the site of a pagan temple. The cross was reportedly able to work miracles and therefore drew pilgrims from all over the Caucasus. A small church was erected over the remnants of the wooden cross in c.545 during the rule of Guaram I, and named the "Small Church of Jvari", which can still be seen adjacent to the main church from the north.

A master class of Georgian national cuisine awaits us after the excursion program. During master class we will learn how to cook real Georgian dishes in a peasant family. Dinner in a peasant family.

Today you will get acquainted with the wine region of Georgia - Kakheti. You will be pleasantly surprised how historical sights here combine with grape valleys, how urban landscapes merge with rural ones.

  • First stop on our way will be Sighnaghi — city of love. Walking through Sighnaghi, you might feel like in Italy - the architecture is pretty similar to small Italian towns. Romantic cobbled streets, carved balconies, 24/7 marriage registration.
  • Bodbe Monastery — built in IX century and remodeled in the XVII, Bodbe Monastery is one of the most important pilgrimage places in Georgia, because country's patron saint, St. Nino, is buried there.
  • Next stop is Gurjaani — important wine region. Gurjaani has a long tradition of wine and viticulture. The small town is located in the fertile Alazani River Plain and is surrounded by vineyards. Here we will taste several kinds of wine produced by family methods as well as by factory methods.

  • Telavi – is an excursion around a surprisingly beautiful region to the world of ancient temples and monasteries, picturesque rivers and valleys.
  • Ikalto Monastery – the first monastery in Kakheti, built in the VI century. The poet Shota Rustaveli studied here.
  • Alaverdi Monastery (11 century.) historical religious and cultural site of all Kakheti. Here winemaking techniques have been preserved for centuries. The monastery offers a tasting room and ethnographic center where guests can taste wine in the authentic sites that hosted Georgian royalty and have been preserved by the monks’ humility.
  • Gremi (16 century.) - royal fortress in the Georgian region of Kakheti. Gloomy and monumental, the castle is the one of the most visited tourist points in Georgia. The complex of the Church of the Archangels is located on a hill and consists of the Church of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel, a bell tower, a three-story palace and a wine cellar. It is surrounded by a wall, with towers and embrasures. The remains of a secret underground passage leading to the river have survived to this day.

  • Ananuri fortress — witnessed centuries of bloody turmoil, including the massacre of its ruling clan. You will get overwhelmed by mysterious feelings while visiting Ananuri.
  • Zhinvali reservoir — most beautiful place in Georgia. This place keeps many secrets and legends. The construction of the reservoir caused big floodings on this territory and almost destroyed all the historical monuments. When the water level decreases you can see the small church, which is appearing under the water. This church is considered to be one of the most mystical places in Georgia.
  • Gergeti Trinity Church — the most stunning churche of all Georgia. Gergeti Trinity Church is a 14th century monument at the foot of Mount Kazbek.

It is situated on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri, which is considered the best ski resort in Georgia, and Gergeti, where you can find the Gergeti Trinity Church.
